- Launch Monitor: A technological device used in golf that measures and analyzes various aspects of a golf shot. Launch monitors track metrics such as ball speed, launch angle, spin rate, clubhead speed, and projected distance. They help golfers understand their swing mechanics and ball flight characteristics for training and club fitting purposes. Modern launch monitors may use radar technology, high-speed cameras, or a combination of sensors to capture precise data.

- Secondary Device: When using the Awesome Golf Assistant to bridge Launch Monitor connections, a secondary device is an alternate device used to bridge connections to a Launch Monitor and an alternate primary device that otherwise cannot connect directly to the Launch Monitor.
