This initiative allows Awesome Golf content creators to have their own unique creator code. Fans and viewers can enter this code when subscribing, helping support their favourite creators directly. It's our way of saying thank you for spreading the love!

How does the creator code work?

Accepted Answer

After being accepted into the initiative, content creators will be notified of their unique code and given access to their own personal dashboard which tracks usage and earnings. Supporters of the content creator can input the code within the Awesome Golf settings tab if they are currently a subscriber. If it is their first time loading up the software, they will be shown a pop-up for them to add the code in. Content creators will then earn a percentage of each subscription (both new and renewing subscriptions) per month. The unique code will stay active indefinitely.

What are the benefits of joining?

Some of the benefits content creators will see are: Revenue share — 10% of every subscription activated whilst using the code, including every monthly renewal. Early Access — access upcoming features ahead of general release. Reach and Exposure — tagging Awesome Golf in your content means we may reshare it across our channels, helping you reach new audiences.

Who is eligible to become a content creator?

Accepted Answer

Almost anyone! As long as you have an engaged audience typically with 1000+ followers on your social media and your content aligns with the Awesome Golf brand, you can become an Awesome Golf Creator.

How do I track the use of my code or earnings?

Accepted Answer

Content creators will be given their own unique dashboard which allows them to track earnings and the usage of their code. This dashboard will highlight how many users have attributed the content creator's code to their account.

What’s the payment schedule?

Accepted Answer

Creators input their bank details within the creator dashboard after a successful application. Creators are then paid monthly based on how many subscribers are using their code. There's no minimum threshold before a creator is paid for code usage.

Can I lose my creator status?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if we see that there's not been any promotional activity for over 90 days, we may remove the creator code tied to your profile.

Can I promote my code anywhere?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we encourage you to promote your creator code far and wide. What's allowed: social media posts, video content, streaming on Twitch/YouTube Live, email newsletters, in-person events, personal websites or link trees. What's not allowed: paid advertising using your code without prior approval, spamming forums or unrelated communities, misleading claims (e.g. that the code gives a discount unless agreed), and inappropriate content that doesn't align with Awesome Golf's community standards.

Yes. Creators around the world are allowed to apply for the creator code initiative.

How much can I earn through the creator code?

Accepted Answer

There is no limit to how much a creator can earn. Creators will earn 10% of each subscription, whether that is monthly, annual or a lifetime license.
