Boat Blast - Shootouts
The Boat Blast Game Mode challenges your skill and strategy with full shots, letting you hit shots aiming at boats around the in-game island scene, sinking them to earn points. Move around the islands with short shorts to get a better angle on a targets and strategise to sink most boats before the timer runs out, taking as many shots as you need.
If you sink all of the boats before the timer runs out, more points will be added to your total! To win, you need to sink the most boats in the fastest time.
In Boat Blast, each boat sunk earns you 10 points - but not all of the boats are stationary. On medium and hard difficulty, some of the boats will be sailing around, changing distance as they go - on easy difficulty, all of the boats are stationary. Whilst you can't stop the timer, your time only starts when you hit your first shot.
In-game, a label will be shown above each target boat to highlight the target and indicate your distance away from it. Swiping horizontally or selecting the label above the target will allow you to change the direction you're aiming.
All of the boats and your location marked with a golf ball icon can be seen on the map in the bottom-right corner of the screen, in the birds-eye view of the islands. A distance marker also shows on the map to help you gague the distance between islands and work out which way you're facing. Sunken boats are marked on the map with red crosses.

Difficulty
Boat Blast has three difficulty levels, with 6 boats to sink on each difficulty. Harder difficulties will need you to hop between the different islands to get the best angles to hit your shot.
- Easy has all stationary targets, close to the starting island
- Medium has three islands you'll need to hop between three islands, chasing after a few moving boats amongst some stationary ones
- Hard steps up the difficulty with seven islands you'll need to hop between and even more moving boats - you'll need to really dial in your full shots
You should use the easy difficulty for new and young golfers, medium for improving and experienced golfers, and hard for advanced golfers. After you're comfortable with the distances of your chosen difficulty, you should move up to the next difficulty for your next challenge.

Scores & Personal Bests
Your current score and all-time personal best shows at the top of the screen during your turn to hit. If your session has added players, you'll also see a list of all players' scores alongside their name in the top-right corner of the screen.
Change Player
When playing with multiple players each player will take turns during the Boat Blast session with their attempts, completing the timed round before switching, in the same order as the player list from the Main Menu. Each player will get a total points score for the session - to win, you'll need to earn more points than any of your opponents!
To add a new player, once already playing Boat Blast, you'll need to return to the Main Menu screen, and press "Add Player" at the bottom of the screen. For more information on adding players and guests, see our Adding Players Guide.
Only one difficulty can be selected for all players, which cannot be changed after you've started a session.
