Awesome Golf Simulator uses the simulator virtual environment to calculate the variables in plotting ball flight and distances. When your Launch Monitor tracks a shot in Awesome Golf Simulator, we use the reported data points to trace and plot the ball flight model.

Different supported Launch Monitors may also use settings for environment accuracy, which may allow you to enter your local environment's altitude and other parameters, to better match the Launch Monitor's data points and tracking to suit your local environment.

Each different Golf Simulator Software uses a slightly different ball-flight model to trace a shot, based on the Launch Monitor's tracked data points, additionally, these numbers may also differ somewhat to the estimated calculations shown in a Launch Monitor's hardware as Launch Monitors also use a different ball-flight model, which is not shared or communicated to Awesome Golf Simulator.

Additionally, game modes such as Virtual Golf take into account some simulated environmental effects such as wind speed and wind direction, which will also have an effect on the shot outcomes shown in Awesome Golf Simulator.
