The Foresight Sports Falcon is a quadrascopic camera-based overhead Launch Monitor system by Foresight Sports that captures club and ball data for indoor use. It features multiple connectivity methods including Gigabit-Ethernet, USB-C, and Wi-Fi.

Wi-Fi Connection - iOS/iPadOS, MacOS & Windows (PC)

The Wi-Fi connection method details the method of connecting your Launch Monitor to your Wi-Fi network, or Personal Network/Hotspot, rather than connecting directly to the Wi-Fi network broadcast by the Foresight Sports Falcon. This connection method allows you to maintain Internet connectivity whilst still using the Wi-Fi connection method for using your Falcon with Awesome Golf Simulator.

  1. If your Foresight Sports Falcon is off, press the power button to turn it on and wait for the status bar to change to blinking blue, when the boot-up is complete. While powering on on the status bar will illuminate yellow.

With the Launch Monitor powered on, tap on the Launch Monitor's screen and select SettingsWi-Fi. Connect the Launch Monitor to your preferred Wi-Fi network or Hotspot.

  2. On your primary device, connect to the same Wi-Fi network or Hotspot as the Launch Monitor.

  3. Open Awesome Golf Simulator on your primary device, select Foresight from the Launch Monitor connection screen, then select the Foresight Sports Falcon when it appears in the list of discovered devices.

Wi-Fi Direct Connection - iOS/iPadOS, MacOS & Windows (PC)

The Wi-Fi Direct connection method details the method of connecting your device directly to the Wi-Fi network broadcast by the Foresight Sports Falcon Launch Monitor so that it can be used with Awesome Golf Simulator. This connection method requires a secondary Internet connection such that you can establish connectivity to both the Internet and Launch Monitor at once.

An Internet connection is required to use Awesome Golf Simulator. When using an iPhone or iPad (cellular) this Internet connectivity can be provided by the cellular (4G/5G) connection. On MacOS or Windows, this connectivity can be provided by using an ethernet cable for connectivity or adding a USB Wi-Fi adapter, such as the TP-Link T3U Nano USB Wi-Fi Adapter. It may also be possible to use a secondary Internet connection using Bluetooth from another device with an Internet connection.

  1. If your Foresight Sports Falcon is off, press the power button to turn it on and wait for the status bar to change to blinking blue, when the boot-up is complete. While powering on on the status bar will illuminate yellow.
  2. On your primary device, go to your device's Wi-Fi settings and search for the Wi-Fi network named after your device (for example FALCON-__). Select this network and enter the password FSSPORTS to connect.
  3. On your primary device, use your secondary Internet connection to connect to your preferred Wi-Fi network, hotspot, or cellular data.
  4. Open Awesome Golf Simulator on your primary device, select Foresight from the Launch Monitor connection screen, then select the Foresight Sports Falcon when it appears in the list of discovered devices.

USB-C or Ethernet Connection - iOS/iPadOS, MacOS & Windows (PC)

The cable connection method details the method of physically linking your Foresight Sports Falcon to your device running Awesome Golf Simulator using an Ethernet or USB-C Cable.

  1. If your Foresight Sports Falcon is off, hold down the power button to turn it on and the screen will light up.

  2. USB-C: Connect a USB-C data cable between the Launch Monitor and Primary Device.

Ethernet using a Router or Network Switch: Connect an Ethernet (RJ45) cable between the Launch Monitor and LAN port on your Router or Network switch.

Ethernet Direct Connection: Connect an Ethernet (RJ45) cable between the Launch Monitor and an Ethernet port on your Primary Device. Using this method of connection may require you to use a secondary connection to the Internet to maintain Internet connectivity. If your device has multiple Ethernet ports, you may be able to connect one port to a source of Internet connectivity and the other to the Launch Monitor - alternatively, Wi-Fi or Hotspot connectivity may be used for Internet access.

  3. Open Awesome Golf Simulator on your primary device, select Foresight from the Launch Monitor connection screen, then select the Foresight Sports Falcon when it appears in the list of discovered devices.
