Hole Descriptions

Hole 1 (Par 3)

174m (Hexagon) / 118m (Square)

A confident opening shot over heather to a green framed by pines. Accuracy is essential because misses gather into natural rough and subtle run-offs.

Hole 2 (Par 3)

165m (Hexagon) / 119m (Square)

A slightly downhill hole that rewards good distance control. Anything short or wide can feed into heather or gentle slopes around the green.

Hole 3 (Par 3)

150m (Hexagon) / 95m (Square)

A narrow tree-lined tee shot with gorse and rhododendron adding pressure. The small green makes precise direction vital.

Hole 4 (Par 4)

300m (Hexagon) / 206m (Square)

A measured tee shot to a sloping fairway sets up a challenging approach. The green features subtle tiers that influence every recovery.

Hole 5 (Par 3)

140m (Hexagon) / 106m (Square)

Deceptively short with heather and bunkers tight to the target. Only a committed shot holds the green.

Hole 6 (Par 3)

194m (Hexagon) / 127m (Square)

An elevated tee provides a wide view of the hole. Anything long or short can run off the firm green surrounds.

Hole 7 (Par 3)

211m (Hexagon) / 137m (Square)

A long hole through trees with a small target. Precision and control are more important than power.

Hole 8 (Par 4)

248m (Hexagon) / 188m (Square)

A short strategic hole where the best tee position opens the narrow approach. Errant shots can drift into heather or sandy waste.

Hole 9 (Par 3)

130m (Hexagon) / 87m (Square)

A raised green sits above heather and slopes. Shots that miss long or short leave a difficult recovery onto the putting surface.

Hole 10 (Par 3)

164m (Hexagon) / 103m (Square)

A mid-length test into a green bordered by heather and gorse. Direction is important because misses quickly find natural trouble.

Hole 11 (Par 3)

219m (Hexagon) / 135m (Square)

A wide landing area narrows toward the green. Firm surfaces reward controlled shots that land in the right section.

Hole 12 (Par 3)

216m (Hexagon) / 154m (Square)

Strategic bunkers influence the ideal lines. Subtle green contours make long putts challenging and recoveries delicate.

Hole 13 (Par 4)

230m (Hexagon) / 191m (Square)

A short par 4 with right-to-left slopes that guide shots toward heather. The green complex demands accurate placement.

Hole 14 (Par 3)

166m (Hexagon) / 133m (Square)

A demanding longer hole where accuracy is essential. Heathland rough and firm edges make holding the green a real challenge.

Hole 15 (Par 3)

133m (Hexagon) / 111m (Square)

An uphill tee shot to a partially hidden green. Distance judgement is key because the target is difficult to see from the tee.

Hole 16 (Par 4)

267m (Hexagon) / 211m (Square)

A very short par 4 emphasising placement over power. The raised green is well protected and punishes imprecise approaches.

Hole 17 (Par 3)

127m (Hexagon) / 100m (Square)

A long par 3 requiring a well-controlled shot to reach an expansive green. Natural run-offs collect anything off-line.

Hole 18 (Par 3)

136m (Hexagon) / 90m (Square)

A tight finishing hole framed by trees. A precise final shot is needed to hold the small closing green.
