  • September 2024 - v3.0! With our v3.0 release we introduced our first licensed 18-hole courses into Awesome Golf.

    Everyone can now enjoy the West Course at Wentworth Club and the Majlis Course at Emirates Golf Club from home.

  • February 2022 - Cross Platform OS Support

    With the amazing launch of the Garmin Approach R10, we received overwhelming feedback to create a native Android app. As a result, we were also able to allow Garmin users to download Awesome Golf Simulator onto ChromeOS too.

    Utilising the new M1 chips, we were also now able to offer Awesome Golf Simulator on MacOS too.

  • January 2022 - Awesome Golf Assistant App

    We developed and released a new app allowing Garmin users to connect their tablets and computers to the Approach R10.

  • December 2021 - Launching on the Garmin Approach R10

    As the final days of 2021 approached, Awesome Golf launched on the Garmin Approach R10 to become our second Launch Monitor partner.

  • September 2021 - The Golf Foundation

    At the BMW PGA Championship, Awesome Golf worked alongside The Golf Foundation with a simulator bay that saw junior golfers (as young as 3 years old) hit a golf shot every minute for 5 days straight! Kids love golf, stickers and sweets.

  • June 2021 - Windlesham Golf Club Office

    The Awesome Golf team move to their first permanent office residence at Windlesham Golf Club. On-site it the Awesome Golf office amd a simulator bay is installed on the range for demonstrations and for use of the members and teaching professionals.

  • April 2021 - George

    George Rourke, with a broad background across the industry that includes club operations and sales and marketing, joined the team to support the growth of Awesome Golf.

  • March 2021 - Grimsby Range

    Awesome Golf completes its largest installation to date at Grimsby Golf Centre in Lincolnshire.

  • September 2020 - First Indoor Venue Install

    PGA Professional David Hewitt's Golf in Progress facility in Essex becomes the first indoor venue in the UK to install Awesome Golf software across its simulator bays.

  • January 2020 - First Range Installs

    Horsham Golf & Leisure in West Sussex has become first club in the UK to install Awesome Golf and FlightScope Range.

  • February 2019 - Ben's Development Journey Start

    Ben Fawcett, who was formerly a programmer at PlayStation joined Awesome Golf and the team set about coding and designing games and skills challenges that would be fun to play but would also help golfers get better.

  • January 2019 - Introductions with FlightScope

    At the PGA Show in Orlando in 2019 Gavin met the team at FlightScope and so the journey began into designing software that would be compatible with its units.

  • 2017 - Our Beginnings and Conceptualisation

    Many of the best ideas are born out of necessity and that was certainly the case for Awesome Golf.

    When Gavin, the founder of Awesome Golf, embarked on buying a simulator solution for his young son he found out pretty quickly that there was nothing fun on the market that also tracked short shots.
