Measurement Unit Settings
- How do I change the speed/distance units?
The units used for metrics and measurements in Awesome Golf Simulator can be configured to your preference for both speed and distnace.
Speed Measurements
- MPH (Miles per Hour): Commonly used in the United States, United Kingdom, and some Caribbean nations. Example: Club speed of 115 mph.
- KPH (Kilometres per Hour): Preferred in most of Europe, Canada, Australia, and many other countries using the metric system. Example: Ball speed of 200 kph.
- M/S (Metres per Second): Less commonly used but found in scientific settings and some European or Asian sports analyses. Example: Ball speed of 67 m/s.
Distance Measurements
- Yards/Feet: Used in the United States and the United Kingdom, where golf courses measure distances in yards and finer details (like putts) in feet. Example: A 150-yard approach shot or a 10-foot putt.
- Metres/Centimetres: Preferred in Europe, Canada, Australia, and most metric-based countries. Example: A 137-metre approach shot or a 3-metre putt.
